Hello!  We are so glad that you have taken the time to visit our site and allow us this opportunity to introduce ourselves.  My name is Jennifer and my husband is John.  We have been happily married since 1993 and have two amazing grown daughters and now our first grandson!  We moved from New Jersey in 2006 to Appomattox, Virginia.  We absolutely love it here and are so grateful for all of the space we have.  It's quite a difference from the crowded suburbs of NJ!  We have a small farm where we raise poultry and dairy goats. We raise Karakachan Livestock Guardian Dogs to help us keep our flock safe from the well known predators in the area: Black Bears, Coyotes, Bobcats, Opossums, Raccoons, Hawks, and roaming dogs.  

 

We also raise English Cream Golden Retrievers, which has been a lifelong passion of mine.  My parents raised Golden Retrievers and I have grown up with them and am so in love with this most amazing breed.  I have such fond memories of them from my earliest memories and it has been something that has stayed with me since as far back as I can remember. Enoch was always by my side and we played in the woods and camped out in a tent in the back yard.  Crumpet was the most loving dog and the very first dog that I ever trained.  It was well before the time of internet, so it was something that I learned solely be trial and instinct.  She definitely ignited a passion for dog training in me!

 

 Once we moved to Virginia and had enough space to have dogs, it was something that I just had to do!  Thankfully, I have the most loving, supportive husband who encourages me to follow my passions...
